About

Father of Three.
Husband of One.
Master of None.

This blog is simply my thoughts and voice, as a father and husband.

I have had some incredible experiences in my life, both in and out of work, from photography to starting a non-profit. From doing an internship in Rwanda to leading a division of NA Training at Tesla. These experiences, along with my most important roles of Father and Husband, and Son will all shape much of what I write on this blog.

I’ve always been an introvert. I’ve never felt defined cleanly by most categories. I love deep connection and thoughtful dialogue. You’ll find that here. From my experiences, and my families, to questions of faith or politics. I hope this is a safe place for thoughtful engagement.

So what’s tounil?!

When I started the blog, and thought about my perspective as a father of three, and, a husband of one. It also struck me that in many senses of the work I’m a master of none. While I’ve always admired those who have dedicated themselves to true mastery of a category, my background has been diverse. While that makes me an authority on nothing, it also helps me look at everything in my own unique way.

So tounil? Well – masterofnone.com wasn’t available.

Tou is greek for ‘of’.
Nil means none.

Father of Three.
Husband of One.
Master Tou Nil.
